Professor Yang Bin

Professor Yang Bin earned his B.S. (1992) and Ph.D. (2000) from Tsinghua University. Prior to his role as Tsinghua University’s Vice President (2014–2025), he served as Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management, Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, Dean of Graduate School, and Dean of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. He was also the Chairman of the Tsinghua University Education Foundation (2015–2022).

His primary research interests include organizational behavior and leadership, business ethics and corporate social responsibility, and higher education innovation. During his tenure as Provost of Tsinghua University, Professor Yang actively promoted professional degree education reforms and required ethics courses for all Tsinghua students. He also served as Vice President of the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Association for a decade.
