Ms. Susan Hu

Ms. Susan Hu leads content development and engagement in China for the World Economic Forum’s Nature and Climate Agendas. She works at the intersection of global sustainability priorities and China’s evolving policy, business, and societal context, helping advance key sectors transition toward a nature-positive economy.

Susan has led the development and publication of influential insights, including Seizing Business Opportunities in China’s Transition Towards a Nature-Positive Economy and Nature Positive: The Role of the Automotive Sector in China. She also brings together leaders from business, academia, and civil society in China through the Forum’s leadership communities, creating platforms for Chinese stakeholders to contribute to and shape global nature and climate action.

Prior to focusing on sustainability, Susan built extensive experience in talent acquisition and management, including eight years at Apple. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Peking University.
