Mr. Tsang Tak-sing

Mr. Tsang Tak-sing, GBS, JP, was formerly Secretary for Home Affairs of the Hong Kong SAR Government (2007 - 2015). Before that, he served as a Hong Kong Deputy to the 7th to 10th National People's Congress (1990 - 2008) and as a Member of the Central Policy Unit of the HKSARG (1998 - 2007). He is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of the Hong Kong Palace Museum and Chairman of its Acquisitions Committee.

Mr. Tsang was engaged in journalistic work for nearly 30 years. He holds two master's degrees from the University of Hong Kong, one in International and Public Affairs, and one in Comparative Literature. He was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University from 1994 to 1995.
