Hubert honed his skills at renowned architectural firms such as Cedric Price in London, Sert Jackson & Associates in Boston, Hemingway Nelson in Vancouver, Edward Durell Stone in New York City and Wong and Ouyang Architects in Hong Kong.

Having acquired certifications as a Registered Architect, Certified Professional, and Project Management Professional in British Columbia, Canada, Hubert established his architectural practice there in 1994 before relocating back to Hong Kong in 1996. In Hong Kong, he is registered as an architect and a BEAM Professional, focusing on creating diverse architectural and interior design projects spanning luxury homes, offices, retail spaces, restaurants, clinics, and more across Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, and North America. Hubert's innovative designs have received recognition in various publications.

Hubert is actively engaged in education, having held instructional roles at institutions like the University of British Columbia, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Chu Hai College of Higher Education, teaching architectural design studios.
